Genetic DNA Testing Takes the “Guess Work” out of Prescribing Drugs ~ Use Your DNA to Match the Best Drug Treatment based on your Particular DNA Characteristics 💊💊💊💊💊

💊 Advocating for your own health is very important. Are you concerned about Drug Contradiction issues? Are you are taking several Drugs?

💊 PolyPharmacy patients are taking several medications. Sometimes a Doctor prescribes a medication to "off-set" or mitigate the adverse drug reaction of the "primary" prescribed medication.

💊 DNA testing assesses Drug:Drug Interaction and Drug:Patient Interaction, can be analyzed with incredible effectiveness. Thousands of Approved FDA Drugs have been tested and analyzed for effectiveness, based on Patient’s unique genetic profiles.

💊 75% of all Patients have genetic variations that have the potential for Adverse Drug Reactions, (commonly called an ADR) for properly prescribed FDA approved drugs and over-the-counter medications.

💊 More than 75% of the Population have Genetic Variations that may effect the drug metabolism on one’s body, whicfh may significantly changing the a patient’s exposure to those drugs.

DNA ScreenING

💊 If you feel drug-sensitivity testing would help you, talk to your doctor about Physicians Choice Laboratory Services, (PCLS) DNA screening. I may be reached at 561-416-1100 and Jim.Genetics@Gmail.com

💊 PCLS screening is a non-invasive, simple cheek-swab procedure, where the swabs are FedEx’ed Overnight to the PCLS Lab. In 2 to 3 days your DNA metabolism is measured, for the absorption of the Medications you are taking considering your unique genetic profile (Genotype). This DNA screening also assessed how the combination of Medications will be absorbed in your Body considering your unique genetic profile, with particular attention to determining if there may be potential for an Adverse Drug Reactions, (ADRs).

💊 PCLS Lab reports are Revolutionary by using your genetic makeup to help predict the medications that will work best for you. You may know that your body metabolizes drugs differently than others. Some bodies have trouble metabolizing specific drugs, which can mean they will not work properly, and may even lead to serious complications (an ADR) and even fatalities. Finding the best match for You and Your Medication regimen is critical.

💊 PCLS is a simple cheek-swab sample test, that analyzes your DNA and provides a comprehensive report so your physician can prescribe with confidence, and you can get the effective treatment you need.

💊 PCLS DNA Testing Takes the "Guess Work" out of Prescribing Drugs ~ Use Your unique genetic profile to Match the Best Drug Treatment based on your Particular DNA Characteristics.

💊 Your good health is your Doctor’s and PCLS Lab’s top priority. An open dialogue between You and your Physician is a very important step in achieving this goal. The graphic below shows that DNA Screening shows Drug to Drug Interaction, and Drug : Drug : Patient Interactions. DNA Screening gives specific Metabolism information specifically matched to the Drug treatment regimen recommended by your Doctor.

💊 PCLS DNA genomic screening is available with a traditional "Prescription" from your doctor, and follow-up (including analysis of your DNA test results) is conducted by your physician. PCLS has prepared some materials that will make it easy to talk to your doctor about what PCLS is, and the benefit it provides for your treatment.

💊 More than 75% of the Population have Genetic Variations that may effect the drug metabolism on one’s body, whicfh may significantly changing the a patient’s exposure to those drugs.

💊 PCLS Lab’s analysis 6 Key drug processing enzymes, namely the CYP2D6, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, VKORC1, CYP3A4 and CYP3A5.

💊 Five Key Enzymes are relied upon by 50% of all commonly prescribed drugs, including drugs used for cardiovascular treatment, and pain medications, NSAIDs, a majority of all antidepressants, tamoxifen and the thousands of drugs that PCLS Laboratory has in their Genetic Prifiling data-base.

💊 Having your specific metabolic-rate information helps your Doctor select the best combination of medications, most likely to succeed for Your Treatment regimine, in light of Your Unique Genetic Profile.

PCLS Lab’s DNA Test is a very Simple Process

💊 (1) You meet with your Doctor as you usually do

💊 (2) A prescription is written for the PCLS Lab’s DNA Testing, PCLS submits the paperwork for billing your insurance insurance company or MediCare; there is no cost to the Doctor or the Doctors Office

💊 (3) A simple cheek-swab is done to collect a sample of your DNA

💊 (4) The Doctor provides a current list of all medications, herbals, and over-the-counter drugs (OTCs) that you are taking, along with what the Doctor may be currently recommending to be taken

💊 (5) The list of medications and your test-swabs are packaged and Overnight Expressed to PCLS Labs

💊 (6) Five Days later the DNA Test results are delivered to your Doctor for his review

💊 (7) Your Doctor examines the PCLS Laboratory report DNA Test results and formulates the best Drug Treatment plan, in light of your particular DNA metabolic rates for the various medications and combinations of all the medications you are taking

💊 (8) Your Doctor than writes Prescriptions for the medications in the proper combination and dosages that are optimized and most efficacious for You, taking into consideration your unique genetic profile.

PharmacoGenetic Screening: Having been trained as a BioChemist, I have an avid interest in PharmacoGenetics DNA Screening.

Last year 2.2 million patients taking prescribed FDA Approved Drugs have experienced an Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR); of those 770,000 experienced an ADR requiring Hospitalization, and 180,000 of those patients the ADR was fatal. Genomic DNA Testing done only once in your Lifetime, will take the “guess work” out of Prescribing, and will give Physicians valuable information, guiding against a patient being prescribed FDA Approved medications that do not suit your Unique Genetic Profile.
