π§How do Ultrasonic Diffusers Work – As one turns-On the Diffuser, a thin Quartz-Crystal Wafer is energized with low-voltage, high frequency electrical signal; This causes the internal thin-Quarts-Piezo-Electric-Wafer to Vibrate to a very high 2.4 Million cycles per second.
π§What is a Quarts-Piezo-Electric-Wafer. Briefly it is a special element on earth, that when energized with an electrical-frequency, Rapidly-Vibrates in sync with the frequency applied to both faces of a thin Crystal. Conversely, if wires are attached to both sides of a thin Quarts-Piezo-Electric-Wafer, where the Wafer is mechanically Vibrated, the Crystal will generate an Electrical-Signal in proportion to the frequency of the Vibration applied to it.
π§With Ultrasonic Diffusers, high-frequency electric signals are applied to a thin, flat Piezo-Electric Crystal, causing the Crystal to Vibrate at ultra-sonic speeds, causing a hyper-Agitation, which becomes a cold-water-oil Diffusion of Vapors. The water-oil “moisture” is silently hyper-agitated, creating billions of microscopic droplets. A miniature super-quiet “Muffin-Fan” is housed in the base of the Diffuser, which gently move Air from the base of the diffuser, up and into the main Agitation Chamber, then continues upward and exits the Top-Spout.
π§Ultra-rapid Vibrations of the Piezo-Electric Quartz Wafer, “vigorously but silently agitates” the water to such an extent it causes the Water and Oil mixture to hyper-diffuse into billions of microscopic cool water-oil-droplets. An internal micro-muffin-fan silently and gently pushes the diffusion up and out of the top of the Bamboo housing. The Diffusion emitted is not hot, as it’s not steam. Rather, the Diffusion is a cool microscopic diffusion of water-droplets plus the essential oil added.

In 1910, GattefossΓ© burned his hand badly and later claimed he treated it effectively with lavender oil. A French surgeon, Jean Valnet, pioneered the medicinal uses of essential oils, which he used as antiseptics in the treatment of wounded soldiers during World War II.
π§ Hormone specialist at the University of Cambridge claimed “… these oils may mimic estrogens” and “people should be careful about using essential oil products.” The Aromatherapy Trade Council of the UK has of course issued their rebuttal.
