❤ AliveECG by AliveCor Inc is an FDA-cleared medical app that is intended for use by licensed U.S. medical professionals and prescribed patients to record, store, display, and transfer single-channel ElectroCardiogram (ECG) rhythm strips, 30-second, 60-second, and longer durations settable.
❤ Once again with Apple’s amazing iPhone combined with, AliveCor Inc’s "ECG cover" and their AliveECG App, has transformed the iPhone into a single-lead ECG reader-recorder, where this information may be converted automatically into a PDF file and transmitted to AliveCor’s Server, or emailed to a near-by Hospital, an Emergency Vehicle, or to a Patient’s Doctor, anywhere worldwide. Amazing.
❤ AliveECG. For users interested in this app should note that AliveECG is intended to be used in conjunction with AliveCor’s heart monitor which attaches to either an iPhone4, 4S or iPhone 5. This app is simple to use and has proven accurate in clinical trials. Simply rest the electrodes on the fingers of each hand, and once sufficient contact with the skin has been made the countdown to initiate the ECG recording begins.
❤ AliveECG. While the ECG is recording it will display your heart rate and any ECG over ten seconds will be automatically saved in the app for review at a later time. Now you have a powerful ECG monitor with you wherever you go. In the newest update you will now be able to record a limited number of ECGs without being online or logged in.
❤ AliveECG was updated to Version 1.0.2 on January 25, 2013. Feedback from Medical Professionals indicates that this app in addition with the heart monitor is an extraordinary combination. One doctor can be quoted as saying he will use this App in his practice to differentiate between Afib and PVCs during office exams.
❤ AliveECG. Not being a medical professional; however, if you are a Medical Professional or have been prescribed the need for an ECG device, the AliveECG App is very well worth checking out. This would be an excellent device to have available in the event of an emergency.
❤ AliveECG. AliveCor’s FDA-cleared Heart Monitor & AliveECG app for the iPhone® 4, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 are intended for use by licensed U.S. medical professionals and prescribed patients to record, display, store, and transfer single-channel ElectroCardiogram (ECG) rhythm strips.
❤ AliveECG. Easy to Use. To generate a Lead I ECG, rest the electrodes on the fingers from each hand (iPhone Home button should be on the right). The app senses skin contact on the sensors and when an acceptable connection is made it counts down to initiate the ECG recording. Set your app to take 30 second, and up to continuous, rhythm strips. While the ECG records it will also display heart rate. ECGs over 10 seconds are automatically saved in the app for review and can be annotated with details or can be discarded. ECGs can be inverted if needed and gain and paper speed adjusted as well.
❤ AliveECG. In clinical trials, the AliveCor Heart Monitor demonstrated clinical efficacy. The Heart Monitor is an ideal tool for quick, accurate screening and recording.
❤ AliveECG. Clinical-quality, single-channel ECG recorder leverages the power, display, and communication capabilities of the iPhone. ❤ AliveECG. The Heart Monitor also uses AliveCor’s proprietary wireless communication protocol to communicate with the App, requiring no bluetooth-pairing between the iPhone and the Heart Monitor.
