RainAware App – Most Accurate Useful Weather App for Predicting Rain ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🔴🔴🔴🔴

★ RainAware is the most accurate and useful weather App for predicting rain times, that I am aware of. This is a Must Have App for your iPhone and iPad; however, the App is designed for Portrait orientation on the iPhone, optimized for the iPhone 5. The unique feature of the RainAware App is their Servers, look at 100 mile Radar Loops in “Real-Time” with your GPS location being the focal point for the Loops. When RainAware “looks” at the Radar loops, it examines the speed and direction of in-climate weather, and literally “Calculates” the time for the in-climate weather to reach your position, and how long it will take for the weather system to exit your location. The App provides these calculation on very easy to read Displays as shown.

★ RainAware is the most accurate and useful weather app for predicting rain times. Now you can precisely “know” what time precipitation will begin, in real-time, and when the storm will end at your exact location, The App uses a 3 hour Radar Loop to make these predictions. Rain times calculations “travel with you” as you move. No more surprises…stay a step ahead of the rain with RainAware.

★ Here is how the RainAware App actually works. All the Weather Data, Dopler Radar Loops, and all time computations are updated every 60 seconds:

► The App determines your location using the iPhone’s GPS system (make sure Location Services are turned to ON. Here is how to do this: Go to Settings, Privacy, Location Services, set to ON, then review the App list to be sure RainAlert is set to ON);

► then automatically, the App obtains the most recent 3-hour Rain-Radar Weather Loop;

► then the App determines the direction and speed of the clumps of rain, and the intensity of the rain in your vacinity (a circle of about 225 miles);

► then the App computes how many minutes it will take for the rain displayed on the Radar, to arrive over your location;

► then the App determine how many minutes of rain will continue over your location, and the actual time of day the rain is projected to end at our location… (See graphics below)

► This App is quite Amazing, particularly if you live, work, or travel to Rainy/Stormy areas.

★ ESSENTIAL FACTS:

► CHECK SERVICE AREA: http://www.rainaware.com/rainaware_coverage_map.gif .

RainAware may not work well in mountainous terrain where radar signals may be blocked. Works best where terrain is relatively flat.

► USER NOTES: RainAware has 3 sensitivity settings. If the default does not detect the precipitation, try the lower setting.

► CUSTOMIZED FOR YOU: Contact us directly to discuss how RainAware works for you. We want to know about bad forecasts. If there is a problem, we will make proper adjustments to fix it. Negative reviews with no information are not helpful, please contact us first by visiting out website: http://www.rainaware.com .

★ RainAware is for use in the United States, Guam and Puerto Rico only. RainAware uses the National Weather Service radar network and may not work properly if a radar is down or if the Radar signals are blocked by mountains. In rare instances, ground clutter may result in a “false-positive” readings for rain at your location on occasion. Very light sprinkles, drizzle, flurries or tiny showers lasting less than a few minutes may not always be detected. Precipitation times will change as RainAware adjusts to rapidly changing weather conditions. Precipitation may form suddenly or dissipate at any time.
