Hard part of this writing. As teaching pro and adjunct faculty for 13 years at FAU, a 30,000 student a Florida State University, teaching "Principles of Digital Photogrphy and Post Image Processing," authored a book of the same title, teaching his topic at FAU for over a decade; The core content of this class is PHOTOSHOP editing techniques, a PC/MAC based computer-lab course. One would think, when Adobe published an App for the iPad, it would be a "screaming package" of image editing capabilities… After all Adobe "invented" the World’s Standard for Image Editing.
Not so, for PS Express. Perhaps I know too much about the PC/MAC versions of Photoshop for 15 years. This App does not even have the LEVELS nor the CURVES graphic editing tools; No Cloan Stamp tool; no SKEW tool, no Image Size tool, no Canvas Size tool, no Dodging, no Burning, the list goes on, what this App does not have. I remain shocked with what Adobe left out of this App. Apparently Adobe is really happy with itself, with their goofie "gestures" which is a terribly inaccurate method of applying an image edit. Adobe needs to get with the program; Apple is selling some 80 million iPads a year, and less than 10% of that is in the PC/MAC universe. The iPad is where the folks are going; however, Adobe missed the boat.
PS Express, yes, we use it, but only for a few tools, (when I need a really strong noice reduction, quick image Straightening and Cropping; otherwise, I am headed over to Photogene’s App for the serious image editing, a true ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rated $3 App for sure.
Hopefully, Adobe will "get with the program" fire the iPad App management, and deliver a top level product, regardless of price.
PS Express (a/k/a: Photoshop Express)
